I am a research scientist. I study the link between global ecosystems and environmental change using Earth observation technology and machine learning. I am currently employed at the Center for Environmental and Climate Science of Lund University in Sweden.

I have a PhD in Physical Geography and Ecosystem Science from Lund University in Sweden, and a joint MSc in Geospatial Technologies from the University of Münster in Germany and the New University of Lisbon in Portugal. I received my BSc in Geoscience from Montclair State University in New Jersey, USA.

Since 1999 I've worked within various sectors including private, government, and academia in eight countries spanning three continents.
